A tower of levels is one membrane

A membrane is a word plus a register. Build, lift and run look like separate levels, but when every level is written in the same language the whole tower collapses into one membrane. The same fact shows up inside a word: at any nesting depth the mark comes back unchanged and one tick is spent.

Dissolution rule

Three checked statements

Dissolution. Matched split and fuse pairs contained inside the outer pair dissolve; a dangling one does not. The 37-token tape and its 31-token reduction close with the same signature: final T, seeded 1, phase-bearing, 3 distinct landings.

Fixed-point nesting. A nested in B closes exactly when A is a fixed point of B’s action, and in one shot when A already sits there. The period r = ord_N(a) is read off the denominator structure, not iterated to.

Banking. δ before δ, μ after μ. Banked in an enclosing frame, a count survives the reversal and the fuse restores it. That makes the collapse correct rather than lossy.

Still open on the way to full residency: values as glyph words rather than ImasmTape vectors, arithmetic as word-walks, the square-root seed inside the vessel, and the search moved inside ∈…∋ so the count banks.
